I'm Caratz from Antwerp, Belgium. My spoken German is not too bad, but my written one is horrible. Therefore, I have asked the forum keeper if it is ok to post in English.

I currently ride an R 1100 RS from 1994. It has close to 100000 km on it.
In January, I have ordered the K 1200 GT with full options and then some.
I will have my Baehr removed from the RS and put on it, and will get the Garming 2720 with RDS module. I am keeping the RS as well. I'm too attached to it to have someone I don't know riding her. It'll be used as a loaner bike for friends who come from afar. Also for classes and track.

I come to Germany very often on business trips, and have numerous riding friends there, in all parts. I am looking forward to the input I will get from this forum. Should anyone want to send me PM's, feel free to do it in German, I have no problem undersstanding it.

Bin selbst zwar gerade erst in diesem Forum, wünsch´dir aber viel Spass mit deiner Neuen K12, und hoffentlich hält sie auch so lange wie 1100 RS !

I'm keeping that baby in shape. She just had her pre season service, and she's getting new shoes -BT 020's- next Saturday.
