Does anyone have the real colors on picture of bikes with colors darkgraphit-metallic, kristallgrau-metallic & tiefblau-metallic ?
I would like to buy the new K1200GT in tiefblau butt i did not see the color in real.

I saw the blue one in Brussels too. It's extremely nice. The reason for not choosing it was simple. I don't know how long BMW is going to use it. I don't want a bike that has a time tag on it. My RS is turquoise. This color stopped being used in 1994. The dark grey has ALWAYS been used by BMW in one form or another.

Tja, aber oft muss leidenschaft auch geschäftlich/praktisch angeschaut werden. Die blaue ist zwar sehr schön.

Es ist wahrscheinlich meine Schweizer hälfte der das vernünft zurstande bracht. Ach man wird auch älter, und denkt manchmahl pragmatisch....

Auch wenn manche Postings in Englisch sind weil der Verfasser (noch) nicht so gut selbst formulieren kann, heißt das nicht, daß wir alle auf Englisch antworten müssen - es hat sogar 'mal einer geschrieben, daß er auch hier ist, um sein deutsch zu üben, was ihm bei bekannten Themen (alles um's Bike) leichter fällt.

And possibly are here also some guys, who can't speak and/or write english very well, isn't it? And espacially you, half a swiss guy, shouldn't have any problems with the german language....

Well my dear Herbert, I have cleared this matter with the forum holder before I registered, and it was fine by him. The Net has made the world a village, and while this is a German Forum, English has been accepted by its owner. English is also the general language on the Net. Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone here.

My Italian is worse then my German, but you have a choice of languages as far as I'm concerned. Flemish, French, Dutch, English, Hebrew, Yiddish, Italian, Hungarian, Spanish and a smattering of Schwytzerdütsch.

I forgot to mention, my mom is from Lausanne, the French speaking part of Switzerland. And of course, I read German fluently so it really isn't a problem for me.

I can read german and thats all, so do I have to leave this forum ?

Ich find's ja auch o.k., daß jeder in seiner Sprache schreibt.

Allerdings wurde ja ICH aufgefordert, in einer fremden Sprache zu schreiben und das finde ich dann doch etwas dreist, wenn man in der Forumssprache nicht mehr antworten darf!

I don't think anyone in their right mind will ask you to reply to a mail in a foreign language. Most of the Belgian and Dutch can deduce what you are saying to them. German is also a spoken language in Belgium, and Dutch + Flemish are Germanic languages. Don't worry about it, we write in English, you reply in German. I hope this clears the matter.
