I got a letter this morning from my dealer asking to bring my bike to them for a recall action. Something to do with a cable at the contact key. It had to be relocated. Did anyone of you get a similar recall letter ?
This recall is by BMW, and I have no idea how many bikes are involved.

I'll have it done next Saturday, provided it doesn't snow.

No letter with me, butt i think i have to go back to dealer for my sadle (zadel). This one leaves marks when sitting on it. I had a rumour about it that they replace it butt i am not sure ??? Any advise ?

Do you leave marks on the seat, or does the seat leave marks on your clothes ? What color seat ? I have the grey one, and it does have a few scuff marks from my boots.

I got a mail a bit earlier from another Belgian GT rider. His bike has been recalled as well, for the same reason as mine.

After a days ride I have them too in my seat, but they stretch out again.

Habe am Samstag ebenfalls den Brief erhalten.Mein Motorrad wird von BMW abgeholt und wieder gebracht. Habe Saisan Kennzeichen und kann daher nicht hinfahren!

Hallo,

Habe mich ein bißchen Schlau gemacht um was es hier geht.

Es ist ein Montagefehler der die Ringantenne (zustängig für die Kommunikation mit dem cobierten Zündschlüssel) betrifft, die am Zündschloß installiert ist.
Durch einen Monategfehler könnte es einen Kabelbruch geben.
Im schlimmsten Fall springt das Mopped nicht an, weil das Signal vom Zündschlüssel nicht zum Mopped kommt.
